Membership of Emerald Mountain Volunteer Fire Department
Membership is open to anyone living in the Emerald Mountain Fire District and there is always a need for more firefighters. Experienced firefighters are welcome, as well as the inexperienced. Inexperienced firefighters are required to complete the Firefighter I course sanctioned by the Alabama Fire College prior to become involved in active, internal firefighting, but may assist with other fire ground duties.
Training is held every Thursday from 7pm to 10pm at station. EMVFD is located at 1785 Old Ware Rd, Wetumpka
